Geological Survey Base Theta-339, resting on an asteroid in the belt surrounding the Red Dwarf Star Malmok-57, mysteriously went quiet 2 months ago. Your objective; to discover the cause and recover any personnel and/or data of importance that remains in the camp. The Problem: the asteroid field is too active for your ship to pilot in, so you and the rest of the mission crew have been launched onto the rock nearby in a pair of coffin landers programmed to automatically relaunch in 5 hours. A crummy way to arrive what promises to be a crummy mission, but at least it can't get any worse than it already is right?
The Blood Lives! is a sci-fi horror one shot for the Mothership TTRPG by Tuesday Knight Games. The Blood Lives! involves moral quandaries, violence, body horror, potential character death, and blood, lots and lots of blood. The Blood Lives in intended for a single 2 to 4 hour game session written with conventions and events in mind.
